Throughout​ our May-July season, Cordova Cordette swimmers may compete in figures and routines within specific age groups.  Age groups are determined by the swimmers age as of June 1st of the current year.  Age groups are as follows...



Novice:  8&U, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18

Intermediate:  11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18

A swimmer is classified as an Intermediate if they place in the top 8 at the end of season Championship meet in the previous season.  All other swimmers are considered Novice. 



Swimmers age out at 18 years of age.  Swimmers may begin at any age with no experience necessary except the ability to swim safely for long periods in water up to 12 feet.
